Dr. Diaz de Leon is a Board Certified Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist trained at Loyola University in Chicago. She did her surgical pathology Fellowship at UTMB in Galveston and more recently completed her subspecialty training in Gastrointestinal and Liver pathology at UT Southwestern in Dallas. Dr. Diaz de Leon has eighteen years of experience and has served as Inspector of the College of American Pathologist for fifteen years. She has also served as Medical Director for several hospitals in Texas as well as private laboratories. She completed her Medical school in San Luis Potosi, Mexico and completed her last year of training at Cook County Hospital in Chicago.
